The Cave
Haxhi Ali Cave sits along the base of the Karaburun cliffs, open to the sea. The entrance is wide enough for the boat to get close — you swim in from there. Inside, the water is calm and clear. The light through the cave entrance changes through the day and makes for some of the better photos on this coast. Plan for around 40–50 minutes at this stop.
The Route
We leave from Vlorë and head down the peninsula by speedboat. The coastline here is raw — steep rock, no buildings, no beach bars. On the way back, the guide picks a quiet bay for a short swim stop if the group wants one.
